Terms of Use

Terms governing use of ZipCodeGlobe public tools, content, data and API.

Source checked 2026-07-18 · Updated 2026-07-18

By using ZipCodeGlobe you agree to use the service lawfully and understand the limits of public postal data.

Permitted use

You may perform ordinary lookups, use published tools and access the API within the documented quota and licence. Automated extraction outside the API, attempts to bypass rate limits, disruption, impersonation and unlawful use are prohibited.

Data and attribution

GeoNames postal data is provided under CC BY 4.0 and retains its attribution. Original site code, design and editorial content remain protected by their applicable rights. Do not remove attribution from exports or widgets where it is required.

No delivery guarantee

A result may be incomplete, outdated, approximate or shared across several places. You remain responsible for checking addresses, customs requirements and carrier rules. The service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee of ranking, revenue, availability or fitness for a particular transaction.

API and paid access

Keys are personal to the approved integration, may be revoked for abuse and are subject to documented limits. Paid access remains inactive until pricing, payment and cancellation terms are explicitly configured.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms with a visible updated date. Contact hello@zipcodeglobe.com with questions.

Accounts, keys and automated access

Administrator accounts and API keys must be protected from unauthorised use. An API key may be limited by daily quota, allowed origin, expiry date and service tier. It may be suspended or revoked when traffic threatens service stability, bypasses documented limits, exposes the key publicly or appears unlawful. A widget key is intended only for the exact allowed web origins recorded with the key and must not be repurposed as an unrestricted server credential.

User submissions

When you submit a correction, contact request or API-access application, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are permitted to provide it. Do not submit unlawful content, confidential third-party data or evidence that infringes another person’s rights. You grant the operator permission to use the submitted information for investigation, response, abuse prevention and, where appropriate, correction of the website’s original editorial material.

External services and links

The site may link to postal operators, the Universal Postal Union, GeoNames, OpenStreetMap, carriers or disclosed commercial partners. A link does not transfer responsibility for an external service’s availability, accuracy, security, pricing or policies. Partner offers, when enabled, are visibly separated from editorial content and do not change lookup results. Users should confirm current terms directly with the external provider before purchasing or shipping.

Service changes

Features, quotas, country coverage and address-format references may change as sources and operational limits evolve. Maintenance may temporarily suspend imports, indexing or API access while cached public lookup remains available where safe. The operator may correct errors, remove abusive content or discontinue a feature without promising uninterrupted availability. Significant paid-service terms must be published before automatic billing is enabled.

Governing context and contact

These terms are intended to operate alongside applicable law and any additional written terms for a paid API arrangement. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page. Nothing on this page limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
